With so many apple trees in the village we are spoilt for choice if we want to learn how to prune fruit trees. A group of us met at Malthouse Orchard and had a hands on lesson about how to prune trees from Paul. Luckily, he explained that whatever you cut off you won't kill the trees. It's all about creating space for the fruit to grow in good light.
