Picking has started!

We've kicked off the season with picking plenty of apples for Apple Day.  So far we have picked cooking varieties: Charles Ross, Annie Elizabeth, Bramleys, Blenheim Orange and Newton Wonder.

For dessert apples we already have Joybells, Laxton Superb, Sunset, Jonathan and Ellison's Orange.  Have you ever tasted these apples?  Come along and try them all at Apple Day at the Red Lion Brightwell cum Sotwell on Sunday 12 October from 12.00 pm.   There will be apple cake and pudding tasting as well!
