We are really pleased to have received a donation of £400 from Judy Howard, Director of the Bach Centre. Having met Stefan Ball at Vernon House, and explained the community orchard and the close links between the Bach Centre and orchards in the village, Judy thought that they would be very happy to support the project.
Paul Chilton remembers the gardener in the 1980s and 90s visiting his fruit farm each spring to harvest flowers from the pine, walnut and cherry plum trees used to make the famous remedies. Emma Broad, the current gardener for 12 years, has offered to give us seeds for the orchard from flowers in the Mount Vernon garden.
